1. All of my art is done on paper and scanned in. I'm still trying to get the hang of my tablet, though I could try digital coloring.
2. I will not do shipping of any kind. I don't frown upon shipping of OCs, canon ponies, or any combination of the two, I simply don't feel capable in my drawing abilities to tackle it as of now.
3. I'm relatively a beginner at art, so any references of poses or your OCs will be very helpful, especially poses!!
4. I'd prefer to avoid fancy outfits. Pony clothing is hard
5. No NSFW material (yet).
6. Please note me if you want a commission! If I suddenly get points in my pool and I don't know what they're for, I'll just keep them.
7. Because these are done on paper, after the initial sketching stage you have three "redo" chances.
8. I can provide work-in-progress shots on request, but they will not be scanned in.

So, I dunno how many of you actually read these things but I am considering opening up commissions for ponies. OCs, canon ponies, whatever.

All art will be done on paper, not on digitally (as I'm still fumbling about on my tablet) and I don't do fancy backgrounds. If you've got an OC you want to see come to life, I might be able to help.

If you're looking for your OC to be romantically paired with another pony, however, you're in the wrong place. It's not that I don't frown on pony shipping of any kind, I simply don't think I'm able to do that right now.

Let's see...I've killed Crimson Bolt, Captain Shadowmane, Deathwish..oh, you mean in reality? Of course not! I'm a writer, not a crazed gunmare!

My last editor was a bit of a prick, to be honest. Kept wanting me to add sex scenes to my novel.

Silver and I go out for a drink every now and then, but my deadlines keep me too busy for serious relationships.

Winter. Then I can shut myself inside and write without the sun beckoning for me to go out for a bit.

Writing. I love it so much that I've made a career out of it! It's always important to blur the line between work and play, darling. That way you won't get burnt out.

I don't like telling everypony, but I prefer straight vodka. You'd think I was from Stalliongrad or something.

Must you be so inquisitive? February 12th, if you must know. I get enough gifts from strangers as it is.

I'm usually nice to everypony aside from harsh critics. I can understand somepony not liking my books, but to call them "blasphemy against Celestia" is a bit much, don't you think?

So, I can only start by saying that this was the best weekend at a convention that I've ever had! Better than when Bungie autographed my copy of Halo 3: Limited Edition.

First off, Pony Swag...SO MUCH PONY SWAG! I got some prints by the lovely and talented of Twilight Sparkle. Scored some pins (tons of them), some shirts, some pony badges...so much stuff!

Speaking of Twilight Sparkle, I picked up some autographs from the one-and-only Tara Strong, who provides the voice of Twilight as well as Bubbles from Powerpuff Girls. SO. FREAKING. NICE. AND. SO. AWESOME!

That's not all. I waited in line to meet Adam Baldwin and nailed an autograph from him. You might know him as Jayne from Firefly. Needless to say, it was a pretty surreal weekend. Adam was really cool guy, easy to talk with even if all I said to him was "Thank you so much!" Definitely seemed to be enjoying himself.

Next weekend: Sakura-Con...so much walking...

Thanks, I guess? I don't even feel like I've earned it. Almost all of my art is commissioned works and what little of my own art I have, I can't really  put up because my scanner is being stupid.

So, for what little it's worth to me but for all the artists I've hired, I say thank you. Thank you for taking my twisted dreams and fantasies and making them realities. Because I certainly can't do it right now .

Alrighty, I'm going to give this a shot and try opening up writing commissions. Keep in mind: this is the first time I've ever opened myself up to do commissions. Send me a note with the characters and situation you want if you're interested. Visual references are optional, but preferred.

I'm attending one of the best schools of video game design in the country and I'm in the middle of switching majors after failing calculus twice. At this stage, it's hard to say.
My question to you: If you would give anything to be with one celebrity for a day, what would you give up and for whom?

In a fit of brilliance, madness, and lack of sleep, I've decided that I want to try my hand at writing a large-scale My Little Pony fanfic. Maybe not as big as Fallout: Equestria (which I still can't find the time to read), but multiple chapters with lots of depth.

Fillies and gentlecolts, I would like to pitch Firesprite to y'all, a fanfiction that puts the Mane Six and the two Royal Sisters out in the deep, dark unknown of the Black. That's right: Ponies + Firefly.

As of now, I've got characters lined up to fill certain roles;

1. Captain Applejack
I'll admit I'm drawing mostly from that Applejack commission I requested, but I see a lot of parallels between Applejack and Captain Mal. Both characters are honest, loyal to their companions, and know when to be confrontational or diplomatic.

2. Shepherd Fluttershy
It made the most sense to me. Like Shepherd Book, Fluttershy would use violence as a last resort. Of course, Fluttershy wouldn't go near a gun...

3. Pinkie Pie the Mercenary
Pinkie wouldn't be as rude as Jayne, but in my opinion Pinkie isn't the brightest bulb in the box. Her sporadic personality might be a good fit for an unpredictable gun for hire.

4. Mistress Rarity, Companion
Rarity's charisma, elegance, and style are only befitting of a Companion. Rarity emulating Kaylee? Nope.

5. Rainbow Dash, Expert Pilot
I liked Wash for his comic relief and his aerial stunts. Rainbow Dash might not make the best comic relief, but she'd be one hell of a pilot.

6. Twilight Sparkle, Master Mechanic
I'm torn between giving Twilight the role of the Captain or of Kaylee, and now that I think about it Kaylee might be better. In a way, Twilight and Kaylee share an odd sense of style, they strike me as being a little introverted, and if you're going to be fiddling with a spaceship's engine, you better be smart!

7. Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Fugitives
Luna and Celestia would be filling the roles of Simon and River Tam. In my mind, an alternate reality of Equestria falls into a state of civil war and the Royal Sisters are overthrown. The new Alliance regime deposes Celestia of the throne, but she remains a key political figurehead. Luna, however, is taken by Alliance scientists and experimented on. I do this not because I hate Luna, but because Browncoats pity River for her pain much in the way Bronies pity Luna's exile.

That's about all I've got for now. The last thing I'm debating about is whether or not the characters in the story should be anthropomorphic or remain in their "feral" pony forms.  How the hell is Applejack supposed to work a revolver without thumbs?

Due to a little foul up, my mom accidentally got me Forza 3 instead of Forza 4, so more awesome pony cars will have to wait. However, to make up for it (even though she knew I was in no way upset about such a small mistake) we found Battlefield 3 for 15% off. I ain't one for Battlefield, but why not?

But what to write about? I've got a story and a revision, both due Friday...might as well crank out those. Off to YouTube to queue up some Chevelle while I kill my creative muscle trying to devise a decent narrative.

And seeing as these are for ENG245, and you will eventually see them, I ain't doing clopfics. I'm still not sure if what I've already got will pass DA's Mature Content rules, but there is now way in hell I'm subjecting my English professor to it.

I've had a headache all friggin' day, not to mention the dizziness. I'm surprised I could force myself to record "Episode 7" of Halo: Equestria.
